An Artist? No, I'm just a Brush'oh'Lover.

Kai jie pirmą kartą pasiekė mano namus ir mano kosmetinę, aš niekada negalėjau net ir pagalvoti apie tai, jog totaliai susirgsiu jų manija ir man jų niekada nebus gana. Ir nuo to karto jų tik daugėjo, jie keitėsi, tobulėjo, gerėjo tol, kol... Yra kaip yra :) 

When they have first reached my home and my make up kit, I've never thought that I am going to totally get mad about them and that there will never be enough of them in my make up bag. And since then my collection of them is only growing, getting better in quality and quantity up until it got to the stage where it is now :)

Tačiau šiandien - ne apie visus juos. Šiandien tik apie tuos, dėl kurių galvą pametusi esu čia ir dabar, šią akimirką. Gamintojai, su kuriais taip ilgai norėjau susipažinti. Pirkiniai, kurie vieninteliai buvo mano pirkinių sąraše kelionėje į Vokietiją. Makiažo šepetėliai, kurie pralenkė ir kitą gerai žinomą kompaniją mano akyse ir ant mano veido.. Taip, tai jie - žavingieji ZOEVA produktai.

However it's not about all of them that I have. Today I only want to show you few of them - the ones that I've currently lost my head over. Manufacturer, that I finally got a chance to try after wanting it for a good while. Products that where the ones to get on my shopping list while on trip to Germany for the weekend. Make up brushes that seemed to be even better than other well known companies brushes for me. Yes, they are the most gorgeous and amazing ZOEVA make up brushes.

Su kompanija susipažinau dviem skirtingais būdais ir labai džiaugiuosi, jog tai leido man susidaryti galutinę ir išsamią nuomonę apie produkciją, jos pristatymą ir t.t. Pirmąjį kartą kelis skirtingus šepetėlius užsisakiau iš oficialaus Zoeva puslapio. Jie savo prekes siunčia beveik visame pasaulyje (tikrai siunčia ir į Lietuvą) už skirtingą nurodytą mokestį. Belieka išsirinkti prekes, susidėti jas į virtualų krepšelį, apmokėti ir.. laukti :) Labai retais atvejais (galbūt vieną ar du kartus per metus), kompanija pasiūlo nuolaidų kodukus, su kuriais apsipirkimas darosi tik malonesnis :) Kuomet pirmąjį kartą gavau šių šepetėlių siuntinį, likau pamaloninta - kiekvienas užsakytas šepetėlis buvo įpakuotas į atskirą užtraukiamą plastikinį maišelį, kurio vienoje pusėje buvo kompanijos logotipas, o kitoje - lipdukas su šepetėlio informacija (paskirtimi ir numeriu). Puikiai apgalvotos detalės, kadangi maišeliai tikrai ne vienkartiniai ir gali puikiai pasitarnauti kelionėse ar transportuojant šepetėlius.

I've had a chance to get my hands on these brushes in two different ways. And I'm really happy because it allowed me to make my final decisions and conclusions about the products, how company produces and selects the packaging for them, etc. First time I have ordered a few different brushes online from the official Zoeva webpage. They are shipping their products worldwide and shipping costs are all given on their webpage. So basically you just have to choose the products, put them to the virtual shopping bag, pay for them and.. wait :) On a rare occasion (once or twice a year), company offers a discount code that only makes the shopping nicer :) When I first got my order of these brushes, I was really delighted - each brush was packed individually in the plastic zipped bag where one side has a companies logo printed on it and the other side has a label with the information about the brush (number and type of the brush). The details of the packaging are really well thought of as the bags can be used for the transporting of the brushes.

Kadangi siuntimo kaina į Airiją yra gana nemaža (už ją ir šepetėlis vienas kitas išeina), planuodama kelionę į Vokietiją žinojau, kad būtinai noriu įsigyti ir šių šepetėlių. Mat Zoeva kilmės šalis - Vokietija. Taigi kur daugiau, jei ne gimtinėje, reikėtų gaudyti progą ir įsigyti šių gėrių? :) Zoeva savo puslapyje turi ir sąrašą prekybos centrų, kuriuose, priklausomai nuo šalies / miesto, galima įsigyti jų produkcijos ir gyvai, ne tik virtualiai. Tačiau gyvų prekių pasiūla mane šiek tiek nuliūdino. Nors radau kelis produkcijos stendus, tačiau juose šepetėlių pasiūla, lyginant su virtualia parduotuve, buvo gana skurdi.. Parduotuvėje kiekvienas šepetėlis supakuotas į atskiras dėžutes, kurios taip pat pateikia visą informaciją apie šepetėlį, netgi išsamesnę (numerį, pavadinimą, išsamią šepetėlio paskirtį), tačiau nesuteikia jokios patogios transportavimo pakuotės (kompaktiško dėklo šepetėliui). Tai nėra didelė problema man, nes šepetėlius, reikalui esant, tiesiog susidedu į didelę kosmetinę, tačiau kitiems tai gali būti nepatogumas. Taip pat nustebino tai, jog parduotuvėse Zoeva produkcijos ir radau tik iš šepetėlių pasiūlos - niekur nemačiau kosmetikos... Gal ir gerai - kilo mažiau noro pirkimui :)

Just because the shipping costs are pretty high to get them delivered to Ireland (and for the price of it I could simply get another brush or so), I knew straight away that on my trip to Germany I will most definitely get more brushes. The birth country of Zoeva is Germany so where would be a better place than this to get more products? :) In the webpage of Zoeva there is a list with all countries, cities and shops where you can get their stuff in real shops, not in virtual shop. However I was a bit disappointed with a variety of products in the real shops. I found a few stands in few different shops, however the variety wasn't as huge as I was expecting, comparing with an online shop. In the shops each brush is packed in separate plastic box and also provides a buyer with an information about the brush, which is even wider (number, type, what the brush is used for), but it doesn't contain any compact bag that can be used after for travelling. It's not a problem for me personally as I mostly use my own big make up bag for the brushes when travelling, however it might be a disappointment for others. I was also surprised that the shops only had Zoeva brushes for sale - there was no make up. But maybe it's only for a better - I haven't spent more money as I had less temptations :)

Savo kolekciją papildžiau keturiais šepetėliais - du skirti akių makiažui, kiti du - veidui. Smagiausia dalis ta, jog kolekciją papildžiau net trimis jau turimais šepetėliais :) Juk įrašo pradžioje minėjau, kad niekada negalvojau, jog susiklostys tokia situacija.. Tačiau ir priežastis tam turiu - įraše apie MAC šepetėlių valiklį minėjau, jog su šepetėlių plovimu susidraugauti sekasi gana sunkiai, taigi pakaitinius šepetėlius turėti mano atveju yra itin gerai!

I've upgraded my collection with four new brushes - two for an eyes makeup and two for face. The funniest part about it is that three of four brushes I've already had in my collection :) And this is why I said at the beginning of the post that I've never thought about a situation like that.. However I have a reason behind it - I've said earlier in previous post about MAC brush cleanser that it's still a bit hard to manage a time for cleaning all of these brushes so it's really good to have brushes that I can replace with a dirty ones!

ZOEVA 231/ LUXE PETIT CREASE

Zoeva 231 šepetėlį naudoju šešėliams išoriniame akies voko kamputyje padengti. Nors gamintojas rašo ir vadina šį šepetėlį skirtu akies raukšlei ryškinti, tačiau dėl savo formos (smailėjančio galo), tankumo ir šerelių tipo (maišytų natūralių ir sintetinių) šis šepetėlis man idealus tamsesne spalva padengti voko kampą. O po to, be jokios abejonės, spalvą išsklaidyti į voko raukšlę naudojant Zoeva 227 šepetėlį. Taigi, išvada aiški - šie du šepetėliai vienas be kito nedraugautų ir mano kosmetinėje jie yra puiki pora akių makiažui atlikti :)

Zoeva 231 brush, according to the company, is used to accentuate the crease and shade eyeshadow edges. However I'm using it for the outer corner of the eyelid to put the darker shade on. It's perfect because of its shape (pointed and delicate end, mixed natural - syntetic hair). So you can definitely see that I'm using this 231 first for the shade and then I'm using 227 for blending it out and it makes this couple a perfect for my make up kit and my eyes make up :)

ZOEVA 124/ GRAND STIPPLING

Šis Zoeva 124 šepetėlis, pasak gamintojo, yra idealus produktas visų tipo makiažo pagrindų (skystų, kreminių ir presuotų) padengimui bei skirstymui ant odos. Kompaktiškas, pagamintas iš veganiškų sintetinių šerelių, platus / didelis šepetėlis suteikia šiam kūriniui profesionalų atspindį. Šis šepetėlis buvo visiškai naujo tipo produktas mano kosmetinėje ir man buvo itin įdomu jį išbandyti :) Turiu pripažinti, kad dėl mažesnio savo tankumo, nei Zoeva 104 šepetėlis, jis suteikė itin keistą jausmą naudojant skystą makiažo pagrindą, tačiau dažytis juo buvo tikrai įdomu ir savo paskirtį jis atliko puikiai.

This Zoeva 124 make up brush, according to a company, is a perfect brush for the professional all-over application and blending of foundation with all liquid, cream and powder products. As it's made of vegan synthetic hair, it's compact, large size, it can easily be called a professional make up brush. This is the first time I'm having and trying something like this in my make up bag so it was interesting to give it a go. It felt a bit different because of the type of the brush as it's not as thick as Zoeva 104, but it is a really good quality of a brush and it just does what is said on the packaging.

ZOEVA 104/ BUFFER

Zoeva 104 šepetėlis yra jau antrasis toks šepetėlis mano kosmetinėje ir jau ketvirtasis tokio tipo šepetėlis mano kolekcijoje. Turiu pripažinti nukėlusi kepurę ir žemai nulenkusi galvą - nesu radusi geresnio šepetėlio skystos ar kreminės pudros padengimui ant veido odos! Tankus, pagamintas iš sintetinių šerelių, patogi rankena - idealus produktas. Kiekviena makiažą naudojanti moteris privalo jį išbandyti :) Ir privalo pasistengti nepamesti galvos, nes kolekciją jais pildyti norės nuolat.. :))

Zoeva 104 brush is a second brush (same! :) ) in my make up and and also is the fourth brush of this type in my collection. I have to admit with my bow down - I haven't found any better brush for liquid or cream foundation. It's just simply perfect - made from synthetic hair, really thick, amazingly comfortable to handle. Every girl who uses make up should definitely give it a go and try not to lose her head over this one as she might want to get another one and another one and another one of the same kind.. :))

Taigi, tokia mano neišmatuojama meilė Zoeva šepetėliams. Duodama mažas užuominas savo mylimajam apie Kalėdines dovanas, aš tikrai išsakiau norą šepetėliams.. :) Ketvirta prisipildžiusi vazelė manęs nei kiek neatbaido nuo noro išbandyti dar kelis Zoeva produktus iš šepetėlių kolekcijos.

So this is the way of my never ending love for Zoeva brushes. When I was chatting to my beloved one about the Christmas gifts, I've definitely mentioned that I would like to get few more Zoeva brushes. Even though at the moment I have four vases full of different brushes, I still can't stop myself from buying and trying them..

I'm normally choosing the make up base depending on the mood, the place where I'm going and, most definitely, depending on the skin situation. Most of the times I'm going for matte effect foundations, fixing it with pressed powders. On the days when I want something easy, light, but still something that would make me look great, I'm choosing BB (Beauty Balm) creams that I also fix up with pressed powder. When I've received an opportunity to try out Rasa BB cream - I was really happy because I've got a second chance to know the product a bit better and also in a little bit different situation :)

Pirmą kartą kremą išbandžiau tuomet, kai mano oda buvo pikta ir sirgo (buvo dehidratuota, nuolat sausinama, išberta). Turiu pripažinti, kad tuo metu kremas man nepasirodė itin smagus.. Tačiau tik dabar, kasdien bandydama ir itin smagiai naudodama šį Rasos kremą jau visą savaitę, turiu pripažinti, kad supratau ir žinau, kokios odos savininkėms kremas tiks ir patiks, o kurios merginos gali kremą nustumti į šoną..

I've first tried this Rasa BB Cream when my skin was in kind of terrible condition - dehydrated, acne-prone, damaged, etc. And I have to admit that at that time I din't really liked the product that much. However only now, after using the product daily for a week, I have to say, I realized why the product simply didn't really suit my requirements before and why I kind of really like it now..

Gamintojas teigia, jog švelnaus atspalvio kremas su hialiurionu pasirūpins ne tik tobula veido odos išvaizda padengdamas visus odos nelygumunus, pigmentines dėmeles ir suvienodinamas odos spalvą, tačiau ir pasirūpins tobula odos priežiūra dėl sudėtyje esančių įvairių gerųjų sudedamųjų dalių (hialiuriono, taukmedžio sviesto, vitamino E, migdolų aliejaus). Turiu pripažinti, kad šį kartą gamintojas beveik 100% savo priemone atitinka savo priemonės aprašymą. Kremas tikrai drėkina odą (arba bent jau tikrai jos nesausina - faktas!). Kremas tikrai atrodo gerai ant odos visą dieną (tačiau turiu priminti, jog visuomet, nepaisant pasirinktos makiažo pagrindo priemonės, papildomai naudoju ir presuotą pudrą fiksacijai, tačiau tai ne visuomet padeda išlaikyti gerą efektą visą dieną). Rasos BB kremas tikrai suvienodina veido odos spalva. Ir taip - vienas minusas, kurį turiu paminėti - šis BB kremas maskuoja itin lengvai arba visai nemaskuoja. Taigi, jis nesulygina odos netobulumų.. Kaip tyčia šiuo metu turiu vieną kitą odos nesklandumą (spuogelį) bei gana tamsius paakius ir matau, kad jie nėra užmaskuoti. Odos spalvos sulyginamas man itin patinka, taip pat kremo lengvumas ant odos ir visas efektas po to (nekemša porų, neapsunkina odos, nesuteikia jokio nemalonaus jausmo odai) - viskas lyg ir gerai, tik to maskavimo norėtųsi vos šiek tiek daugiau..

Manufacturer states that this mild-colored cream with hyaluron will not only ensure the skin looks perfect all day by concealing skin imperfections, pigmentation marks and spots, harmonizing skins color, but it will also take an excellent care of your skin due to the different oils and other good ingredients in its consistence (hyaluron, shea butter, vitamin E, almond oil). I have to admit that this time the manufacturer says almost 100% truth about the product and how it really is. The Rasa BB cream really hydrates your skin (or at least doesn't make it dry which is a fact). BB Cream looks great on skin for the whole day (but just to remind - always, doesn't matter what type of product I choose for the make up base, I use the pressed powder to fix my make up, but sometimes even that doesn't help). Rasa BB cream also evens out the skin color and the skin shade. However. That one negative thing about it - it doesn't conceal spots, dark circles or pigmentation marks. So it doesn't cover up all the imperfections. I can definitely see it as I have a few little spots at the moment and really dark under-eyes and I can see that they are not concealed. I love the even color of my face, I also love how light the cream is on my skin and that feeling that it gives. It doesn't clog my pores, it doesn't make me feel that I'm wearing a mask - it doesn't give any bad feeling for my skin. Everything seems to be great except the fact of the product simply not concealing the badness good enough..

Cream isn't only great depending on its effect on the skin - great and easy to use packaging with a pump makes the product pleasant to use. Nice gold-shade paper box makes the product nice to have on the make up shelf. All the important information is given on the box itself. The price of this Rasa BB Cream is also great (official BIOK online store sells it for ~€6, however customers from other countries rather than Lithuania cannot get the products purchased in their online store..). There are two shades available of this product - light and medium. So basically it all just sums up to the fact that you might really want to try Rasa BB Cream and make your own decisions about it :)

Relax with Geomar.

Turbūt nieko nėra geriau už sunkios dienos pabaigą ar puikios dienos pradžią besimėgaujant karštu dušu, puikiais kūno priežiūros priemonių kvapais ir jų aiškiai matomu efektu. There is probably nothing better than finishing tough day or starting a great new day enjoying hot shower and some great skincare stuff. One of the life pleasures - the sound of the running water and knowing that you will be able to enjoy all those lovely scents and amazingly soft skin after some great home-made SPA.

Seniau dušo priemonėms neteikdavau didelės reikšmės. Atrodė, na, kas čia tokio tie visi dušo geliai, vardai, spalvos, kūno šveitikliai ir t.t. Nusiperki - sunaudoji, imi kitą - vėl sunaudoji. Tačiau tuomet atsirado galimybė išbandyti įvairesnius produktus, ne tik tuos, skirtus masyviam vartojimui iš didžiųjų prekybos centrų. Ir štai tuomet aš supratau, kad vis tik dušo gelis nėra tiesiog dušo gelis ir verta mokėti brangiau :)

A good while ago I wasn't paying too much attention for the showering products (shower gels, body scrubs, etc.). I was always thinking that it doesn't really matter what colour, smell, brand, shape etc. are all these products. You just get one - finish it fully, then get another one - finish it fully and the process goes round and round and round. However then I got this opportunity to try out something different rather than the range that you can get in all supermarkets. And that was when I've realized, that, actually, shower gel is not only a shower gel and it's really worth sometimes to pay more :)

Kaip susipažinau ir radau Geomar priemones, jau nelabai ir prisimenu. Žinau, kad dar gyvendama Lietuvoje. Turbūt. O gal kaip tik nusipirkau pirmą prekę išbandymui jau tuomet, kai grįžau į Lietuvą atostogų. Bet kuriuo atveju džiaugiuosi, jog prieš išbandydama žemiau aprašytas dvi Geomar priemones, turėjau galimybę jas palyginti tiek su pigesnėmis, tiek su brangesnėmis tos pačios paskirties ir poveikio priemonėmis. 

I wouldn't be able to clearly remember how and when I found out and got myself introduced to Geomar products. I think that it was well before I left Lithuania. Or, actually, maybe when I was back on holidays and I bought few first products. I don't really know, but I'm definitely happy to tell you that I had a proper chance to try Geomar stuff after I've tried something from the cheaper range and something from the more expensive range from the products of the same effect.

Šveitiklio naudojimas itin paprastas - tereikia pridėta mentele indelyje sumaišyti abi produkto fazes (druskinę ir aliejinę) iki tol, kol gausite košinę konsistenciją ir produktą naudoti toms sudrėkintoms kūno vietoms, kurias norite šveisti, lengvai padengus odą šveitikliu ir jį įmasažuojant. Čia jokių taisyklių nėra - pradedant kaklu ir baigiant pirštų galiukas :) Su savotišku loginiu indėliu, be jokios abejonės. Po to šveitiklį reikia nuplauti vandeniu. Tačiau štai čia aš pastebiu vieną minusą - itin nepatogu šveitiklio pakuotę duše ar vonioje bandyti atsukti šlapiomis rankomis, po to ją vėl užsukti.. Būtų idealu, jei tokio tipo šveitikliai būtų pakuojami į kitokias dėžutes (su pompa arba į spaudžiamas), tačiau tikiu, kad tokiu atveju dvifazis šveitiklis tarsi prarastų visą savo produkto esmę..

The use of the product is pretty simple - before each use blend the salt and oil with included spatula to get a thicker consistency of the product. Apply to wet skin, massage and rinse thoroughly. You can use it overall body, however, use some logic when using the body scrub ;) However there is one negative side that I notice about the use of the product - it's the packaging of it. Even the box gives a warning. It's quite uncomfortable to use it as imagine having wet hands, standing in the shower or having a bath, trying to open and then close a box. It can be pretty hard and annoying.  I wish companies could put these types of products into different packaging (like tubes with pump or something similar) but then, I think, the whole matter of the product being made this way, would loose its' sense.. 

Puikūs šveitiklio privalumai yra tai, jog jis tikrai gerai nušveičia odą, ją pamaitina, oda lieka itin švelni, padrėkinta ir maloniai kvepianti. Privalu paminėti, jog tokio tipo šveitiklius esu bandžiusi dviejų gamintojų - Geomar ir Collistar. Nors kainų skirtumas tarp šių dviejų produktų daugiau, nei akivaizdus (pvz. Geomar kūno šveitiklis kainuoja apie 33Lt už 600gr produkto, o Collistar - apie 190Lt už 700gr), akivaizdžių skirtumų tarp jų aš nepastebėjau. Collistar produkto kvapas buvo gerokai aštresnis ir labiau prabudinantis, jei šveitiklį naudojau ryte :) Tačiau skalsumo bei galutinio poveikiu atžvilgiu abu produktai man pasirodė beveik vienodi.. Todėl Geomar šveitiklių (skirtingų rūšių) savo kosmetiniame sandėliuke dar turiu visus du, o Collistar kartojimui itin kaupiuosi..

The great side of this body scrub is that it polishes the skin really well, leaves it softened, moisturized and great smelling. I have to point the fact that I've tried two brands of these types of scrubs - Geomar and Collistar. And even though the price different between these two is obvious (Geomar 600gr product costs about €10 and Collistar 700gr jar costs about €55), I haven't noticed obvious differences between the actual effect of both of these. Collistar product had stronger smell which was great for quick wake up if I was using scrub in the morning. But the longevity and effect on the skin wasn't so much different between these two. So that's why I have two more of different Geomar scrubs waiting to be used and I'm still strongly thinking if I will ever want to use Collistar again :)

Realybė šiek tiek skiriasi nuo etiketinės tiesos.

GEOMAR shower oil - product that can be used instead of a shower gel or soap for body wash. Based on natural emollient oils and marine seaweed extract, product gives skin these thousands of great things: firming action, nourishment, hydration, softness. So all in all it looks like this shower oil does everything and is the only needed product in your bathroom to save the skin from all the bad damage that you've done. However, it's not as nice and shiny about this... Reality shows a bit different things comparing to labels :)

Produkto naudojimas, vėlgi, itin paprastas - prausiantis duše įtrinti kūno odą aliejimu, pamasažuoti kempine arba delnu, nuplauti šiltu vandeniu, o vėliau kūną aplieti vėsiu vandeniu. Kadangi esu naudojusi tokio tipo L'Occitante firmos migdolų dušo aliejų, tai turiu pripažinti, kad Geomar dušo aliejus mane stipriai nuvylė. Kvapas nėra erzinantis, tačiau nėra ir pats maloniausias. Produkto pakuotė sunkiai užsidaro ir apskritai neužsidaro iki galo, todėl vis aplanko jausmas apie jos nesandarumą ir apie tai, kas būtų, jei produktas nukristų ant grindų.. Pats produktas neputoja nei ant odos, nei ant kempinės. Nei lašas jo, nei pliūpsnis. Jis tiesiog neputoja. Odą tikrai padenga švelniu aliejų sluoksniu, kuris suteikia švelnumo, minkštumo pojūtį, tačiau nežinau, ar tai realiai bent kaip nors paveikia mano odą. Žodžiu, trumpai tariant - produktas nusivylimas. Ir jei kartočiau tokio tipo kūno prausiklį, tai tik brangesnės firmos, nes.. šiuo atveju taip - skūpus moka du kartus. O vėliau ir trečią, jei produktas patiko :)))

The use of this shower oil is, once again, really simple - apply with a massage to clean and wet skin. After a few minutes, rinse thoroughly with warm water while massaging. Finally a vold water spurt aids the firming action and circulation. I've tried a similar type of product before Geomar from L'Occitane almond line and I have to admit that Geomar really disappointed me. The smell of the shower oil is not too annoying, but it also isn't really nice. The cap of the packaging doesn't really close to the end and I keep constantly thinking of what would happen if the bottle would drop on the ground. Don't even want to think about it :( The oil itself doesn't give any foam - neither on the skin, nor on the sponge. Neither a drop, nor a flash. No foam at all, I should say. It leaves skin softer and nicer because of these oils from the ingredients but at the same time I'm not really sure if these oils are doing actual work to the skin at least in a bit. So, long story short - it's just a disappointment. And this time I should say that yep - savvy pays twice. And later on pays third time if he really enjoyed the product :)))

Apibendrinant šią apžvalgą apie Geomar noriu paminėti, jog ne visos pigesnės priemonės yra prastesnės, jokiu būdu! Ir labai džiaugiuosi turėdama galimybę ne tik išbandyti, bet ir palyginti šias priemones su kitomis :) Ar Jūs bandėte Geomar produkciją? All in all I just want to say that not all expensive products are great and not all cheap stuff is bad. I am really happy that I was able to try both sides of the market and compare them, too :) Have you ever tried Geomar shower stuff? Which products did you like and would recommend?
