Such a simple thing - shower gel. And how many pros and cons beauty junkie can think of when decides to write something about it.. :)

Pamačiusi už lango saulės spindulius ir nepaisydama itin vėlyvos nakties, kilau iš lovos ir labai ankstyvą rytą sėdau į balkoną su puodeliu savo mėgstamiausios kavos. Prieš save pasistačiau TAI ir.. staiga prisiminiau ir pagalvojau, kaip stipriai pasikeitė mano poreikiai ir pasirinkimai. Pamenu, kaip man tikdavo Mamos parinktas kietas Fa muilas prausimuisi tuomet, kai buvau vaikas. Fa keisdavo koks nors tuo metu itin reklamuojamas muilas, kuris įnirtingai ir labai keistai žudo visas vaikiškas bakterijas ir net gydo nubrozdintus kelius ir alkūnes. Ir delnus! :) Šiuos du kartais keisdavo žavingai lyg karamelės įpakuoti vaikiški muiliukai su ančiukais ir raudonai geltonom plastmasinėm pakuotėm. Tačiau man lengvai tikdavo muilas. Toks, kokį Mama išrinkdavo. Laikui bėgant keičiausi ne tik aš, kaip pakuočių vergė, bet ir mano oda :) Muilas, išsirinktas savęs pačios, apskritai pradėjo nei tikti, nei patikti. Vonios malonumus pakeitė greitas, dažnai kontrastinis dušas. Ir apskritai teko ieškoti priemonių, kurios ne tik džiugintų vonią savo pakuotėmis, bet ir tiktų bei patiktų mano jau tapusiai lepiai ir išrankiai odai. 

This morning, when I saw those amazing sunny spells through the window, I just jumped out of my bed, never mind the late late night and really early morning. I made a cup of coffee that I like the most. I also took THAT product and... I suddenly realised how much my needs and chosen things have changed. I remember when I used to use a hard soap that my Mom was choosing for me. It was that brand Fa. And sometimes Fa was changed into some weird hard soap that kills all bacteria and also helps to improve quicker those childish wounds on the knees and elbows. And palms, of course! :) And sometimes, quite rarely, but still, these were changed into those nicely packed childish hard soaps where the most important thing and the biggest difference was in the brightly coloured red and yellow plastic packaging. But still I was pretty simple and soap was the best thing for me back then. The one, that my Mom was used to choose for me. However time went by and my needs, as well as my skin, have changed. The soap, even the one, that I was choosing for myself, didn't suit me anymore and I started not to like it at all. The long and soaky bath was changed into quick shower. And I've started to look for the things that would not only be suitable and good for my skin, but would also look good in my bathroom..

Dar gyvendama Lietuvoje spėjau pamėgti lietuviško prekės ženklo Rasa (Biok) kurtas priemones. Prieš kurį laiką ir savo tinklaraštyje aprašiau vieną jų priemonių - BB kremą. Šitą kartą noriu apžvelgti kitos srities priemonę - Rasa šveičiamąją dušo želę su ginkmedžių ir kaštonų ekstraktu. 

I found this Lithuanian company Rasa (Biok) when I was still living in Lithuania. I have already wrote a post about a different product of their range - BB cream. And this time I want to share my experience about another product - Rasa exfoliating shower gel with ginkgo biloba and chestnut extract.

Šią dušo želę įsigijau internetu, taigi mane sužavėjo tik jos aprašymas ir paprasta pakuotės išvaizdą. Informatyvi, labai tinkanti vonioje, nes man automatiškai spalvine gama besisiejanti su vandeniu ir švara. Patogi naudojimui dėl savo pakuotės tipo. Žodžiu, viskas liuks. Ir dar! O vaikyti, dušo želė, kurioje integruotas kūno šveitiklis. Neslėpsiu - man buvo tikrai smalsu ir įdomu išbandyti. Ir įvertinti, ar tai vėlgi vienas tų produktų, kuomet šveitiklis, įpakuotas štai tokioje pakuotėje, bus visiškas nusivylimas, ar tai kažkas, ką aš atrasiu ir nebenorėsiu išmesti iš savo vonios malonumų :)

Internetu šios prekės įsigyti Biok oficialiame internetiniame puslapyje, deja, nebegalite, taigi nesu tikra, ar ji vis dar egzistuoja prekyboje, kadangi pirkau gana seniai. Tačiau siūlyčiau pasižvalgyti didžiuosiuose prekybos centruose ARBA pranešti ir man, kad po šio įrašo sunaudojus likusį produkto lašelį man teks labai nusivilti ir tokį smagų atradimą pamiršti... :) 

I have bought this shower gel online so I was only amazed by the description of the product and by its packaging. Really informative, very suitable in the bathroom because of its colour (honestly speaking these two colours always reminds me of water cleanness), also very easy to use. Basically, all looked great! And also, oh my gosh, the shower gel that comes with an effect of the body scrub!! :) Basically I wanted to find out if it is going to be another crappy body scrub that comes in a packaging like that or will it be something really cool that I've found and will constantly use in my bathroom :)

However I've checked and found that even in companies official webpage this shower gel is out of stock so I'm not sure if I will be able to repurchase it somewhere or to tell where this can be bought as it looks like the thing is just discontinued and my wishes to use this product further after I'll finish last few drops of mine will be broken.. :)

Dušo želės kvapas - itin malonus. Gaivus saldumas, primenantis lyg saldainius, lyg ananasus. Keistai įdomus ir patraukiantis kvapas, vienok :) Spalva, galbūt, ne itin sužavinti - žalia. Elektro žalia. Salotinė. Žodžiu, nieko bendro su švara ir vonios produktu :D Pati želės konsistencija tokia, kokia ir turėtų būti tokio produkto - nei per skysta, nei per tiršta. Kadangi dušo želė yra šveičiamoji, jos sudėtyje yra mažų, tarsi cukraus, šveičiamųjų eksktraktų, kurie mano neišlavintoms žinioms jaučiasi kaip grūdeliai :) Ir nors tokio tarsi pavienio šveitiklio ši dušo želė nesudaro, tačiau šveičiamojo efekto man, mano nuostabai, tikrai užtenka. Priemonė itin skalsi, aprašymas rekomenduoja ją naudoti 3 - 4 kartus per savaitę. Taigi nei padauginsi, nei sunaudosi greitai, tačiau naudojimas bus tikrai malonus :) Po šios šveičiamosios dušo želės mano oda nebūna išsausėjusi, kasdienio šveitimo efekto tikrai pakanka ir jaučiamas malonus švaros pojūtis. Taigi, produkte vien tik pliusai! 

The smell of shower gel is really nice. Fresh sweetness that somehow reminds me of the candies mixed with pineapples. Really interesting and attractive scent! The colour of the gel might not be that attractive - bright, nearly electric, green. I mean this screams "Freshness" but not "Cleanness", let's be honest :D The gel itself isn't too liquidy or too thick so I would definitely say that the consistency is perfect. And also as it is basically like 2 in 1 product - the shower gel and exfoliator, it contains some kind of really thin and small, nearly like a sugar crystals, that exfoliates the body. And even though it is nothing like a plain body scrub, I would still say that it gives some nice exfoliating feeling to the skin when used on a daily basis. The product is long-lasting and the information on the back recommends to use it 3 - 4 times a week. So basically you can't use it all too quick cause it's not recommended to be used daily, but you will really enjoy using it :) My skin doesn't dry after using this shower gel and there is enough of exfoliating when using it on a day to day basis. So what can I say - it looks like there are only pros of this product!

Ir nors planavau įsigyti dar bent kelias šio produkto pakuotes grįžusi į Lietuvą ar ruošdama sau siuntinuką iš Lietuvos, mano nusivylimui, turbūt teks ieškoti kažko kito ar labai panašaus.. Gaila, tačiau tokia realybė - gana dažnai iš prekybos išimama produkcija, kuri, nors ir per trumpą laiką, bet spėja sužavėti ne vieną vartotoją :) 

And I should sadly admit that I feel pretty sad about the fact that I can't find this shower gel in stock anywhere online - I was definitely thinking about repurchasing it when I'm back in Lithuania in 2 months time or even ordering it online and get it delivered here. It is really sad that products which attracts quite a lot of people within pretty short period of time, are discontinued :)
