Keller Buersten hair brush

Atrasti tobulas plaukų priežiūros priemones tam tikrais atvejais man atrodo kur kas sudėtingiau, nei rasti tobulą drėkinantį / maitinantį veido kremą, tobulus lūpų dažus ar tobulą porą batų. Turbūt tame pačiame lygyje man galėtų būti tobulos kavos paieškos. Tu arba randi, arba ne ir tuomet jau kimbi prie visko, kas tik erzina, kas netinka, nepatinka ir apskritai. Šį kartą aš, kartu su Vitrina PRO, pasinėriau į tobulo plaukų šepečio paieškas ir gavusi išbandyti šį Keller Buersten produktą pasiryžau jį įvertinti. Įdomu, koks mano verdiktas? Finding the perfect and most suitable hair care products might sometimes be even harder and more challenging than to find a perfect moisturizer for your skin, fabulous lipstick or even amazing pair of shoes. I would even call this journey of finding perfect hair care items as challenging as finding the best coffee. You either find it and fall for it or you don't and you just then start to be very picky and pointing out at everything. This time I, together with great shop Vitrina Pro, tried to find the best hair brush for me. So I've received this great looking pretty thing by Keller Buersten and went ahead trying it and reviewing it for you. Want to know my opinion? Well, all I can say then - just keep reading :)

Pirmiausia noriu pabrėžti tai, ko tikiuosi iš plaukų šepečio. Kadangi mano plaukai gana priklūs, dažyti, pakankamai ploni, itin besiveliantys ir plaunami kasdien. O dar ir visokiausio spaudimo gaunantys - žodžiu, pilnas komplektas. Todėl man labai svarbu ne tik tinkamos priemonės plaukų plovimui (šampūnas, kondicionierius, kaukė, įvairūs purškikliai) - itin svarbus ir tinkamai pasirinktas šepetys plaukams, kadangi nesinori vaikščioti su plaukų kunkolais ant galvos. Dideles viltis dėjau į šį gautą šepetį, nes, pasak gamintojo, jis turėtų būti tikrai ypatingas.

So firstly I would like to start with my expectations from any hair brush. My hair are quite "tough" I would say - colored (multiple times now), quite thin, tangles very very easily and I wash them everyday. And I also use lots of stuff on my actual head that also does some impact for the well being of my hair, so I kinda have a "best full package". Because of all this stuff, I really need hair brush to deal with the tangles very easy and be as great as the products that I use on my head (shampoo, conditioner, various masks, sprays and so on) as I don't want to be walking around with multiple bird nests on my head. I honestly had such a high expectations for this hair brush as the brand states these are awesome.

Company is always trying to meet the changing requirements of the 21st century through shorter production cycles, flexibility and greater customer orientation. Ecological and ethical principles enjoy a high priority in the company. 

This specific Keller Buersten hair brush comes with cushioning, in the perfect size (230 * 63mm), with antistatic features, made from beech wood. The handle of it is impregnated with natural oils and it contains straight wood teeth (no extra bubbles on top). Made in Germany.

Kaip jau minėjau - surasti savo plaukams tinkamą šepetį man yra pakankamai sudėtinga misija. Aš vis galvoju, kad štai - radau gerą ir jau tikrai tikrai liksiu tik prie to gamintojo šepečių, bet tuomet išbandau kažką naujo, tas naujas tinka ar patinka labiau ir tada jau nuomonė pasikeičia. Šį kartą į rankas paėmiau vokišką produkciją. Apskritai mane žavi vokiška produkcija, ypatingai šokoladai :D Nežinau, kodėl, tačiau išgirdus, jog daiktas pagamintas Vokietijoje, aš kažkaip tarsi savaime save įtikinu, jog tai bus tikrai kokybiškas daiktas.

As I have mentioned above - finding a brilliant hair brush to me is a bit of a struggle. I am always thinking that here I am - found the perfect brush and I will only ever buy the products by that one brand, but then I try something new, fall in love with it and I'm like "Oh ok, this one is so much better than the other one - I'm loving this one now, forget about the previous!". And that's how the loop keeps going. This time around I got my hands onto the german stuff. I love things made in Germany, especially chocolate :D I don't even know why, but once I see that something is made in Germany, I immediately think to myself that yep - this one is gonna be so good and in such a good quality!

Šepetys pirmiausia mane nudžiugino savo dydžiu ir formos dizainu - itin patogu laikyti rankoje, malonu, jog panaudotas natūralios medžiagos (mediena), taip pat patiko sprendimas dantukams nedėti jokių papildomų burbuliukų. Mano skalpo oda - labai jautri. Masažas iki tam tikro lygio smagu, tačiau jeigu dantukai pradeda braižyti galvą - malonumas dingsta :) Taigi kol kas tai buvo tik pliusai. Tuomet šepetį išbandžiau...

I was firstly delighted and happy by the size of the hair brush and the design of it - very nice to hold in hand, material is nice and all natural (wooden) and also I liked the fact the teeth are straight wooden without any additional bits and bobs. My scalp skin is very sensitive and I really like some massage for it from time to time, but once the massage is a bit too much I'm like "No, thanks, bye now" :) So these are all the positive things about the brush. And then I tried it out on my actual hair...

Pirmiausia bandžiau ant šlapių / drėgnų plaukų. Supratau, kad ne. Niekaip - šepetys plaukus labiau pešė ir vėlė, nei šukavo. Absoliučiai netiko šiam reikalui. Na, mano plaukai gali būti dviejų stadijų - arba šlapi / drėgni, arba sausi. Taigi nusprendžiau šepetį išbandyti išsidžiovinusi plaukus. Tuomet pamačiau, kad šepetys tikrai turi antistatinių savybių - plaukai nesielektrino, atrodė lygiai iššukuoti, tačiau kelių susivėlusių kaltūnų neįveikė. Teko imtis kito šepečio toms kelioms vietoms. 

Trečiam ir paskutiniam bandymui nusprendžiau išmėginti šukavimą visiškai sausų plaukų jau dienos pabaigoje. Šioje situacijoje aš apskritai labai nustebau - mano plaukai perbraukus juos šepečiu tiesiog įsilektrino akyse. Nesu tikra, gal dėl to, jog ką tik buvau nusiėmusi šalmą ir kaklo movą po grįžimo namo, gal oras buvo sausesnis, o gal šepetys tiesiog nebuvo nusiteikęs bendradarbiauti su mano plaukais. Tačiau trečias kartas nemelavo ir šepetį palikau naudoti savo vyrui...

Firstly I've tried to use it on my wet / damp hair. Straight away there and then I knew - no, this is not working for me. Not a slightest chance. The hair brush was tangling and teasing my hair even more. As my hair can be in two conditions - either wet / damp or dry, I decided to give another go on them being dry. I have then noticed that the brush really has some antistatic features - my hair didn't go all mad in the air, they looked really well brushed, all straight and nice. However, brush didn't cope very well with a few bird nests (tangles), so I had to use another brush for this.

Third and last test went on when I came back home after long day, took off my helmet and neck warmer and decided to give another nice light brush for my hair. I was then surprised even more - for some reason hair brush decided to have a full on argument with my hair and they became charged! I don't exactly know why this happened and what made an impact but my reaction was "Oh woah - where is that antistatic feature gone now, huh?". That was THAT time when I made the decision to leave this Keller product for my husbands use...

Išvadai ir pabaigai norėčiau pasakyti, kad nemėgstu rašyti blogų atsiliepimų. Todėl dažniausiai mano tinklaraštyje Jūs skaitote tik pagyras, pripažinimus ir didžiulės (ar kiek mažesnės, bet vis tiek) meilės įvariems mano daiktams ar produktams išpažinimus. Tačiau šį kartą aš dalinuosi nuomone produkto, kuris netiko man ir mano plaukams. Jums tai gali būti vienas geriausių šepečių. Man, deja, patiko tik jo forma, malonus jausmas laikant tą aliejais pripildytą, bet rankų nealiejuojančią, rankeną (ir įdomus gerąja prasme kvapas :) ), tačiau mano plaukams šis produktas absoliučiai netiko. Esant galimybei galiu rekomenduoti pasižvalgyti po Keller Buersten šepečių asortimentą, nes jų kompanija prigamino ne vieną ir ne du - gal tiek Jūs, tiek aš sau rasite tinkamiausią. O aš ir toliau tęsiu kelionę rasti tą patį pačiausią šepetį savo plaukams.. Kaip sakoma "Čia ne Tu, brangus šepety, kaltas - čia mano plaukai" :)

So for the final thought I want to mark down that I don't really like leaving bad reviews. This is the reason why most of the times you only see products with only good reviews or my expressions of love for them (with small negative things mentioned, but still). However, this time I went ahead and shared this review which isn't the best. And even then this might be your best hair brush ever - if it didn't suit me, it, by no means, means that this won't suit you. I am happy with it's design, shape and handle full of oils (which doesn't grease my hands and has a lovely interesting scent to it) - it simply didn't suit my hair at all. I would, though, recommend you to have a look at Keller Buersten hair brush range as they do make quite a lot different hair brushes - I am sure both - you and I - can find some great products made by them. And I am just going to continue looking for that one holy grail. As they say "It's not your fault, my dear hair brush - it's me and my hair" :)
