Rapid White "Direct White" whitening toothpaste

Beplanuodama taip ilgai laukiamas atostogas Lietuvoje aš visuomet pirmiausia susitariu konsultacinio vizito laiką su savo odontologe. Žinote, kodėl? Nes aš, kaip ir dauguma kitų, suprantu, kaip svarbu yra tinkama burnos higiena :) Taip pat suprantu ir tai, kad labai svarbu tinkamai pasirinkti ne tik savo odontologą ir susiplanuoti patikrinimą bent kartą į pusmetį, bet ir burnos higienos priežiūros priemones, ne tik suteikiančias tai, ką žada gamintojas, nurodydamas produkto aprašymą ant pakuotės, bet ir tinkančias kiekvieno mūsų burnai. Jau kelis kartus ditirambais mojavau apie vienus ar kitus būtent šios srities produktus ir mano pasirinkimus bei įspūdžius, todėl šiandien - ne išimtis ir aš atbėgu su dar viena nuomone apie dar vieną burnos higienos priežiūros produktą. Šį kartą - Rapid White ir jų kasdieniam naudojimui skirta balinanti dantų pasta.

One of the first things that I always do when I start planning my holiday in Lithuania is scheduling in an appointment with my dentist for a full checkup. Do you know why? Because I, just like majority of others, understand how important it is to look well after your dental hygiene :) And it's not only me understanding the importance of choosing the dentist correctly and planning those visits at least every half a year - it is also very important to choose the right products to look after the teeth that would not only give the results written on the box, but also would suit our own mouth and teeth. Good few times already I have spoken about few different products for oral hygiene and shared my opinion with y'all. So today I am sharing my review about another dental hygiene stuff - it's a daily use whitening toothpaste from Rapid White.

Pirmiausia, kaip žinia, pasidomėkime, ką apie šiuos produktus sako patys gamintojai ir kuo jie ypatingi?

Rapid White - tai dantų balinimo priemonės be peroksido, skirtos naudoti namų sąlygomis. Visa Rapid White priemonių linija yra saugi dantų emaliui, nesukelia dantų jautrumo. Dantų pasta "Direct White" išbalina dantis iki 1.5 atspalvio jau po pirmo panaudojimo! Naujausios technologijos ir patentuotas sudedamųjų dalių junginys (PVP + Pentasodium Triphosphate) pastebimai nuvalo apnašas ir saugo, kad nesusidarytų naujų, pašalina dėmes, atsiradusias nuo kavos, vyno, rūkymo ir pan., neleidžia formuotis dantų akmenims, taip pat kruopščiai poliruoja dantų paviršių. Suteikiamas optinis efektas yra trumpalaikis ir jo išsilaikymas priklauso nuo dienos metu vartojamų dantis dažančių produktų (kavos, vyno, t.t.) kiekio. Sudėtyje yra fluorido (1000 ppm F), todėl stiprinamas dantų emalis, dantys apsaugomi nuo ėduonies. First of all, as almost always, let's have a bit of a look at what is the brand saying about these products and why is this toothpaste special according to the manufacturer?
Rapid White is a brand inspired by dentists and approved by you. It is the expert for teeth whitening at home and they now finally bring the perfect complement for a bright white smile. None of the Rapid White products contain peroxide so it is very safe for the tooth enamel and it doesn't irritate your teeth at all. "Direct White" toothpaste with Optical Whitening Technology gives a visible brightening effect of up to 1.5 levels after the first brushing due to the white direct pigments that lie over the tooth which makes the teeth visually white. This is a result that has been clinically proven! This effect is temporary and is lost by the consumption of foods throughout the day. However, toothpaste is perfect for the daily adult use. The toothpaste also protects teeth from the dental plaque, tartar, etc. It is recommended to use other products from the Rapid White range to increase the whitening effect.

Taigi, žiūrint į kompanijos aprašymą aš žinau, kad jeigu mano dantys ir nepašviesės tuo pusantro tono, tai bent jau mano odontologė tikrai džiaugsis matydama, kad eilinio patikrinimo metu mano dantys neprarado savo emalio sluoksnio, nepasipuošė įvairiom dėmėm nuo meilės kavai ir neprisistatė akmeninių sienų ir ribų aplink save. Tačiau tai - mano odontologės būsimas verdiktas, o kokį gi rezultatą pamačiau aš ir mano vyras?

So after reading the description of the brand I know straight away that even if my teeth won't whiten in that 1.5 level, my dentist will be very happy when doing my standard check she will see how protected and well looked after my teeth are. No broken tooth enamel, no new teeth stones around the beauties and no stains from the coffee and lovely Saturday night wine! This, however, would be her point of view. But did me and my husband saw any result for the description of the product?

Mane pirmiausia patraukė pastos pakuotė savo dydžiu. Patogi, nes puikiai tinkama kelionėms tiek dėl kiekio, tiek dėl pakuotės dydžio. Tačiau nelabai patogi naudoti dėl atsukamo kamštelio - šlapiomis rankomis ir užmigusiomis akimis atsukti kamštelį ir jo nepamesti gali būti kiek sudėtinga, todėl aš dažnai vertinu kaip pliusą tas tūteles, kurių dangteliai atsidaro. Tačiau svarbiausia - ne pakuotė, o tai, kas joje :)

I would like to start with a packaging (I know, I know - I'm almost addicted to the descriptions of the packaging of the products). The size of it is perfect and it suits so well for the travelling - small, tiny (75ml) and neat. However, it's not the most handy to use due to the type of the cap - it's one of those screw-able ones and it is a bit of a hassle to open it up and not lose it somewhere with the wet hands or sleepy head. I would always prefer those click-type of the caps. But it's not the packaging that's most important - it is what inside that counts :)

Dantų pasta baltos spalvos, todėl tikrai nešokiruos nei vieno jos naudotojo, skirtingai nuo mano seniau aptartos pvz. juodos spalvos dantų pastos. Kaip ir minėta gamintojo aprašyme, pasta - gaivaus mėtų skonio ir jos konsistencija man pasirodė tikrai įdomi. Tai nėra vienalytė kreminė masė - ji turi savyje įdomių smulkių dalelių, kurios, rodos, puikiai nuvalo dantų apnašas ir suteikia dar stipresnį gaivos ir švarumo jausmą. Pasta neerzino dantų bei burnos ertmės nei man, nei vyrui. Tačiau kaip gi su tuo akivaizdžiu balinimo efektu? Mano vyras patvirtino, kad šiokį tokį trumpalaikį baltumo efektą jis pamatė iškart po pastos panaudojimo - optiškai dantys tikrai pašviesėjo, tačiau tai nebuvo ilgalaikis baltumas. Aš pati vis sukau galvą iki tol, kol visiškai pabaigėme pakuotę. Ir tuomet nusprendžiau, kad taip - pasta tikrai suteikia dantims optinio baltumo ir tikrai juos pašviesina (nesu tikra dėl skaičiaus, bet kartais ne tame esmė :) ), tačiau man, kaip kavos mylėtojai, tas šviesumas neišsilaiko labai ilgai. Ir dabar, pabaigus pastą ir naudojant kitą jau kurį laiką, aš matau, kad dantų baltumas laikėsi tol, kol naudojome būtent Rapid White Direct White balinamąją dantų pastą. Kadangi ji tinkama kasdieniam naudojimui - prisirišus prie būtent šios dantų pastos nuolatinio naudojimo arba tiesiog vis karts nuo karto įvedant ją į savo kasdienės burnos ertmės priežiūros rutiną manau, kad efekto galima tikėtis, tačiau jis gana trumpas ir vienkartinis, tam kartui :)

Toothpaste comes in a standard white color so no one will get over excited as they would get about the black toothpaste. As the brand states, it has this lovely fresh soft mint aftertaste and its consistency seemed to be very interesting to me - it contains not only creamy paste, but also some kind of small parts in it that cleans the teeth even better and gives that extra fresh feeling. Toothpaste did not irritate our teeth or mouth and gums. But did it really gave us that special 1.5 levels whiter look? My husband confirmed that, in his opinion, toothpaste really whitened the teeth after the first use. However, he also said, that the whiter look is very optical and not long lasting. Myself.. Well I wanted to use the product fully and only then make my decision. I should admit, though, that yes - it whitened my teeth as well. However, I love my coffee (and my wine sometimes :) ), so I have noticed that it is kind of temporary effect. We have finished using it a while ago and I can see now, that whitening didn't stay and that if I would include this paste into our dental hygiene routine from time to time, we can still enjoy this optical whiteness at least when using it :) 

Taigi, ar pati rekomenduoju šią dantų pastą? Tikrai taip, jei norite geros kasdieniam naudojimui puikiai tinkamos ir trumpalaikį, bet matomą balinimo efektą suteikiančios dantų pastos :) Nors kaina nėra maža už tokį kiekį, tačiau savo darbą produktas atlieka, pasirodė pakankamai skalsus naudojant dviems žmonėms du kartus dienoje, patogioje (pakankamai) pakuotėje, suteikia gaivų burnos kvapą ir švaros pojūtį. Ar dar kartosiu? Manau, kad tikrai taip :) 

So, would I recommend this product? Yes, for sure! Especially if you want a toothpaste that is perfect for a daily use and that gives that instant white effect for your smile (even though it is not long lasting). I know that this product is on the pricey side, however it really gives the results that brand states of and the usage of it is pretty long lasting (judging on the two people using it twice a day), packaging is pretty comfy, it gives nice minty freshness and clean feeling. Am I going to purchase it myself? I surely think yes :)
