L'Oreal "Infallible 24h-matte" foundation & Real Techniques "Miracle Diamond sponge"

Lygi veido odos spalva ir lyg iš pieno plaukęs bendras prekinis interfeisas - kone kiekvienos merginos ar moters svajonė. Ko tik mes, damos, nepadarysime dėl lygios, gražios, skaisčios, nuolat energija, šviežumu ir jaunyste alsuojančios odos. Labai džiugu, kad kadaise buvo išrasta tokia priemonė, kaip makiažo pagrindas! Šiai dienai su gausybe įvairiausių tipų, rūšių, spalvų ir paskirčių makiažo pagrindų sau tinkamiausią išsirinkti gali tikrai kiekvienas vartotojas. Nors su savo oda aš pykausi jau gana ilgą laiką, tačiau paskutiniu metu pradėjau ją, kaip ir save, mylėti labiau ir priimti tokią, kokią gavau kartu su genais :) Tačiau visi tie maži "stebuklai", kurie padeda man paryškinti savo privalumus ir paslėpti trūkumus yra tik sveikintini mano kosmetinėje. Tokiu puikiu atradimu man tapo ir L'Oreal gaminys - Infallible 24h - matte skystas makiažo pagrindas. Pamenu prieš kurį laiką bandžiau šį produktą ir jis man niekaip neįtiko. Tačiau ne visuomet meilė ar neapykanta iš pirmo žvilgsnio yra teisinga :) Tiesa, taip pat supratau, kad labai svarbu ne tik tai, kokį makiažo pagrindą naudoji, bet ir tai, kaip ir kuo jį dengi ant veido odos. Todėl kartu prie makiažo pagrindo apžvalgos šiandien noriu papasakoti ir šiek tiek apie naujovę mano kosmetikos krepšelyje - Real Techniques "Miracle Diamond sponge".

Even skin tone and absolutely gorgeous "interface" - this is a dream of almost every girl or woman across the world. We, women, would do almost anything for the even, beautiful, bright, young, always looking fresh and young looking skin. So I am so so happy that ages ago someone invented such a thing as a foundation! Nowadays with a wide variety of various foundations we can all pick the best for us - different types, shades, finishes, etc. I was arguing with my skin for a long time, however recently I started to love it the way it is and simply accept all those features of my own skin :) But all of these small tips and things in my make up bag are really great stuff that helps to reveal the good things and hide the flaws of my skin. One of these great discoveries was this foundation by L'Oreal - Infallible 24h - matte. I do remember trying it a good good while ago and I didn't like it then. But quite often first impression is not the final and right one :) Oh, I also learned for the fact that it is not only the foundation that matters - it is also very important what you are applying it with and how you are doing that. So I would also like to tell a little bit about another great discovery of mine - Real Techniques "Miracle Diamond Sponge" make up sponge.

Pirmiausia, ką noriu paminėti, tai mano turbūt jau neaprėpiamą meilę Real Techniques makiažo kempinėlėms. Jeigu kam skaitant kiltų klausimas, ar jos tikrai geresnės už žymias Beauty Blender - iškart skubu atsakyti, kad nežinau, nes iki šiol jų taip ir neišbandžiau. Tačiau kuo toliau, tuo daugiau bandau skirtingas Real Techniques kempinėles ir tuo labiau jas mėgstu :) O su L'Oreal mano santykis irgi labai šiltas ir artimas - mane taip žavi šios kompanijos produktai, kad dažnai gana ilgam sustoju prie jų stendo parduotuvėse ir vis nagrinėju, žvalgausi, bandau, ne retai ir įsigyju kažką naujo. Būtent todėl šį kartą nusprendžiau ditirambais mojuoti ne kam kitam, o puikiam duetui iš mano mėgstamų kompanijų.

First of all, I definitely have to mention my almost immense love for Real Technique make up sponges. And straight away I have to admit - I don't know if they are any better than the famous Beauty Blender sponges as I haven't tried these yet. However, the more Real Techniques I try, the more I like them. And my friendship with L'Oreal is also very close and good - almost all the time I am quite impressed with the products by this brand, so quite often you can find me standing at their display in the shops looking through the stuff, swatching and picking something up. All of these are the reasons why I decided to talk about both products by both brands together in one post.

L'Oreal teigia, kad šis makiažo pagrindas suteikia ilgalaikį matinį efektą bei natūraliai atrodančią odą ir yra sukurtas mišrios / riebios odos vartotojams. Šis makiažo pagrindas pasižymi oro lengvumo tekstūra, kuri nesukrenta, bei ilgai išliekančiu padengimu (net iki 24 valandų), kuris paslepia odos netobulumus tolygiai ir lengvai. Šios skystos pudros sudėtyje yra švelni vandens pagrindo emulsija, užtikrinanti komforto jausmą visai dienai. Real Techniques, savo ruožtu, nurodo, jog ši deimanto formos kempinėlė yra ne kas kita, o stebuklinga! Daugiasienė makiažo kempinėlė yra sukurta darbui su skirtingomis makiažo priemonėmis ant skirtingų veido zonų. Smailioji kempinėlės dalis yra skirta maskavimui, didelės plokščios kempinėlės dalys skirtos makiažo priemonių paskirstymui ant kaktos ar skruostų. Mažos plokščios kempinėlės dalys puikiai tinka preciziškam kontūravimui aplink akis, lūpas ar antakius, o viršutinė plokščioji dalis skirta makiažo suliejimui. Gamintojas rekomenduoja kempinėlę naudoti drėgną. Taip pat rekomenduojama kempinėlę keisti kas 1 - 3 mėnesius. Šio produkto sudėtyje nėra latekso.

L'Oreal states that this Infallible 24h-matte foundation gives a matte result that lasts up to 24h and also leaves skin naturally looking. The foundation is clinically proven, waterproof and steamproof. Comes with all the comfort, none of the shine. Provides perfect coverage without any cakey effect. It is very easy to apply and the product is also enriched with perlite technology that reduces the appearance of shine up to 24 hours. Foundation comes in 5 different shades and it suits best for combined / oily skin.

Real Techniques states that this new sponge by them is nothing else but a miracle. Multi-faceted miracle diamond sponge is uniquely designed to work with multiple products on different areas of the face. No two miracle diamond sponges are alike - each has its own unique swirl design. Pointed tip covers small imperfections, larger flat sides function as a wedge to apply makeup to larger areas like your forehead and cheeks. Smaller flat sides are great for precision contouring around eyes, mouth and brow bone and top works great to buff and blend out the makeup for a flawless finish. Brand suggests to use it wet for dewy application and dry for full coverage powders. Also recommendation is to replace the sponge every 1 - 3 months. It is latex free.

Taigi, pirmiausia, kas mane džiugina L'Oreal pudroje - jos pakuotė. Gana patogi, minkšto plastiko tūtelė, iš kurios išspausti pudrą tikrai lengva. Turiu pripažinti, kad ji lengvai nusičiupinėja ir dangtelis gana lengvai išsitepa (juodos detalės pakuotėje yra matinės), tačiau viską nuvalius dėmių - kaip nebūta. 

Pudros konsistencija - vidutinio skystumo. Ji tikrai nėra nei visiškai skysta ir tekanti, nei tiršta ir klampi. Pudra neturi jokio kvapo (bent jau savo uosle jo tikrai nepajaučiau). Taip pat pasirodė gana skalsi - nepasakyčiau, kad reikia vos mažo lašelio viso veido odos padengimui, tačiau užtenka daugmaž tiek, kiek parodžiau žemiau pateiktoje nuotraukoje. Tiesa, pudra gana lengvai pasiduoda sluoksniavimui, todėl norint dar stipresnio maskavimo galite sluoksniuoti :) 

Ant veido pudra man išlieka visą dieną, t.y. nuo ~7val ryto drąsiai iki 20 ar 21val vakaro. Dienos eigoje kažkiek susigeria į odą, tačiau vakare tikrai nereikia pudros likučių ant veido ieškoti su padidinamuoju stiklu. Mano porų makiažo pagrindas nekemša, todėl, kaip sakoma, et voila - manau, kad tai puikus produktas! 

Yra tik vienas dalykas, ką joje keisčiau - atspalvių pasirinkimo įvairovę. Gali būti gana sunku išsirinkti sau tinkamiausią atspalvį, kai jų - vos penki.

So, firstly, I am quite happy with the packaging of L'Oreal foundation. It's easy to use, made from soft plastic and product comes out very easy out of it. I have to say though, that because of black parts being matte, it gets dirty pretty fast, but I simply clean it with the wet wipes and it is nice to look at again.

The consistency of the foundation is somewhere in the middle between being very watery and very thick. It doesn't have any obvious scent. I also think that the product is quite long-lasting (economically) - you only need a small amount (not like a tiny drop or anything, but still..) of it to cover the face. And I also think that it is easy to layer the foundation for better coverage.

This foundation stays on my skin for all day - from about 7am to roughly 8 or 9pm. It doesn't clog my pores, so I would simply say - et voila, I do think this is one great product!

There is only one thing that I would love to change with this stuff - expand the range of the shades it comes in as there are only five of them.. Not much to choose from really.

Real Techniques kempinėlė mane taip pat pirmiausia nudžiugino savo pakuote. Akivaizdu, jog Chapman seserys ir jų komanda vienodai laiko skiria ne tik naujiems produktams, bet ir jų pakuotėms bei tobulinimui.

Kempinėlė man itin smagi savo dydžiu - nors nuo tradicinės oranžinės perėjusi prie mažesnės, bet šiek tiek patogesnės rožinės, maniau, jog su deimantine nesusidraugiausiu, tačiau mano pačios nuostabai ši, didžiausia iš visų, kol kas man pasirodė patogiausia. Ja labai patogu dengti tiek skystą makiažo pagrindą, tiek kontūravimo priemones, skaistalus, maskuoklį, sklaidyti produktus ant veido odos. Kempinėlė tikrai minkšta, neerzina odos. Labai patogu ir tai, jog kempinėlės šonai yra skirtingi ir ji tokia multifunkcinė bei patogi laikyti rankoje. Taip pat manau, kad ši kempinėlė nesugeria itin daug produkto, kas yra dar vienas didelis pliusas.

Na ir turbūt tik vienas dalykas, kuris šiek tiek mane erzina - baltos spalvos kiekis šioje kempinėlėje. Jau po pirmo panaudojimo visiškai pilnai išplauti pudros spalvą buvo neįmanoma (nors naudojau šepetėlių plovimui skirtą specialią priemonę ir ploviau iškart po kempinėlės panaudojimo). Tačiau tai - tik vizualus diskomfortas, kuris labai didelės įtakos kempinėlės naudojimui tikrai neturi.

Real Techniques sponge also comes in a very nice packaging. It is quite obvious, that Chapman sisters and their team thinks not only about the product, but about the packaging, too.

The size of the sponge is really good - even though I've swapped classic orange sponge to a smaller pink one and I was happy with the small size of it, I was a bit squared that I won't get on very well with the diamond sponge due to it's size, I was pleasantly surprised how handy it is to use and I actually think that it is the best out of three those that I've tried so far. The sponge really suits perfectly to put the foundation on, also use with the contouring products, cream blushes, concealers, buff out the products on the face and reach flawless finish. It is very soft and doesn't irritate the skin when using. Also it is handy to have it multi-faceted as it is totally multi-functional and handy to hold. And I also wouldn't think that it absorbs a lot of product.

There might be one slight thing that I would (probably) change in this one - amount of white color. It is only a little bit annoying as there is almost no chance to wash off the color of the product off this sponge and I have used special liquid for washing the brushes. Although it's not a biggie, really - just a visual downside that doesn't have an effect for using it.

Na ir žemiau pateikiu rezultatą, kurį gavau naudodama šias abi priemones. Ne ne, nei pudra, nei kempinėlė nepatamsino mano plaukų ar palaidinės - tą dieną teko kovoti su aršiai nusiteikusia saule, kuri tikrai nenorėjo manęs džiuginti savo pastovumu ir tai blykstelėdavo pro užuolaidos kampą, tai vėl apsidengdavo debesimis. Tačiau akivaizdžiais matosi pudros efektas sulyginant odos spalvą, suteikiant veidui gyvumo, natūralumo, taip pat maskuojant. Na ir kempinėlės galimybės visą makiažo pagrindą tinkamai išskirstyti ant odos.

And down below I put in few pictures with a result of using these two products together. Obviously, foundation and sponge didn't change my hair color or the color of my top - it was those silly games of the sun I had to deal with on the day. However, you can clearly see that the foundation evened out my skin tone, covered imperfections, but at the same time left my skin looking quite natural. Oh, and the sponge helped me dealing with the buffing and all that jazz.

Taigi, įvertinus visus niuansus, aš tikrai rekomenduočiau atkreipti dėmesį į būtent šį L'Oreal skystą makiažo pagrindą ir, esant galimybei, tiesiog išbandyti mėginuką ant savo odos, ypač, jei ji yra mišri / riebi (mano oda mišri, dehidratuota, jautri). Na ir kempinėlės - kaip gi be jų.. Ar deimantinė, ar klasikinė - didelio skirtumo nėra, tačiau visad smagu išbandyti kažką tokio pašėlusiai atrodančio ir puikiai atliekančio savo paskirtį :)

So, after summing up all pluses and minuses, I would really recommend to have a look at this L'Oreal foundation and maybe get your hands on a sample of it, especially if you have combined / oily skin (my skin is combined, dehydrated and sensitive). And sponges, oh those sponges. It doesn't really matter if it is diamond, original or any other one - it is just always nice to try out something new and so weird looking, but working at its best :)
